Elsebeth Lavold has received worldwide recognition for her knitwear
design. She is best known for her Viking Knits Project. The Viking Knits Project which introduced a technical innovation
in knitting that made it possible for Elsebeth Lavold to use the beautiful interlace patterns of the Scandinavian Vikings
in her knitwear design.
Since 2003, her design efforts
are primarily focused on her own yarn label, Elsebeth Lavold Designer's Choice. She is the only Swedish knitwear
designer with er own yarn label.
