Youth Knitting Camp 2009

We are pleased to announce our first Youth Knitting Camp. The camps are for youth ages 8 to 14 who want to learn to knit. The camps are for youth and taught by youth.

While our staff is available to answer basic questions related to projects using materials purchased from The Knit Studio, Customers are encouraged to avail of the one of the many instructional courses offered by The Knit Studio. This is the best way to advance one's skills and learn new techniques.

We Love Young Knitters!

Many of our customers are young knitters who find recreation in knitting, not video games. If your child would like to experience the joy of knitting, we encourage you visit our store and sign them up for an instructional class. If your child is a member of a youth organization who might be interested in a group lesson, please speak to a staff member.

And parents, don't tell your children, but there is a lot of "math" involved in knitting, but it's so much fun they will never notice.

The Knit Studio is pleased to announce it's support of the 3/50 project which is a national movement to support locally owned businesses. Two-thirds of every dollar spent in a locally owned business goes back into the community which helps the local economy and keeps your favorite stores in business.
